Our Control team of engineers and technical personnel offers extensive engineering capability in design, installation and commissioning of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) based systems for power generation plant, water supply utilities and general industrial applications.

Our Control professionals have a wealth of expertise in using the Allen-Bradley range of PLC hardware, as well as other PLC platforms.

Our Control capabilities include:

• review of existing plant including preparation of reports and estimates
• design and drafting of control systems in accordance with client specifications
• PLC programming over the complete Allen-Bradley range from MicroLogic and SLC through to ControlLogix
• operator interface programming using SCADA software such as RSView and Citect
• design of field networks such as DeviceNet
• control systems for gates and valves
• machine protection systems incorporating temperature, vibration and process variables
• dewatering and fire protection systems
• integration of governor and excitation systems
• remote control via RTU hardware
• experience with a range of communications protocols including Serial, DH485, DH+, Ethernet, ControlNet, Modbus and DNP3
• site supervision and commissioning
